I have two poems in the latest issue of Prick of the Spindle, “BPM” and “Wishbone.” I just noticed that both poems have the word “kiss” in them, and may in fact be the only poems in which I use that word. Strange, eh? You can check out the issue online right here.
Not to long ago, I received my contributor’s copies of The Emerson Review‘s 2013 issue in the mail. I have a story in here titled (as you can see!) “Henceforth Known as Matthew.” The issue is also available to read online right here.
My story, “Prairie School,” appears in the new #27 issue of Blue Mesa Review. Thank you to the editors for allowing my work to appear in your journal! (The art, by the way, is by Joni Tobin – great, isn’t it?) You can read my story online here.
The beautiful new print annual #6 of Painted Bride Quarterly arrived in my mail on Monday, and features all online issues of the magazine that came out in 2012. I haven’t had time to dig into the annual yet, but it’s so thick that I know I’m going to spend an enjoyable week or two perusing it. My story, “Ghosts Across America,” was featured in issue #85. You can still read it online right here.
